In conformity with our values on non-discrimination and advocacy for bridging digital divide, DA4TI works to fostering digital economic inclusion by collaborating with development partners, like minded NGOs and digital business companies on social enterprises. Informed by data driven model as invaluable commodity, we promote inclusive digital economy for all marginalized populations including persons with disabilities. Our initiatives in inclusive digital economy, cut across sectors that promote employment, food security, social enterprises, entrepreneurship, access to real time data/information, markets and innovation in digital platforms that foster economic and livelihood improvement.
DA4TI is currently working and providing technical project management support to digital innovative startups in private sector as part of the collaboration for social enterprise in livelihood improvement through inclusive digital economy. We are working with MASOKOTIPS (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.masokotips), a registered company on digital economy within agriculture sector and its value chain, to enhance and facilitate young women, youth and persons with disabilities in accessing market information/data, transportation services, real time data on prices and link them with the potential buyers/markets through digital platform.
DA4TI also works with African Tabasamu Foundation (ATAFO) in Arusha for integration of tourism in digital economy with focus on vulnerable young women including persons with disabilities in skills enhancing for handcraft arts and cultural products from Maasai culture. Under this program, DA4TI supports ATAFO in technical project management within inclusive digital economy by partnering with another enthusiastic registered startup company, Leted Co, under their product named Bidhaa App (https://bidhaa.net). DA4TI is committed and strives to imparting digital skills for lasting livelihood improvement to marginalized persons including persons with disabilities by working with strategic partners in inclusive digital economy.
